Game Summary/Details
As Matty pointed out, AiB is a squidgames-like with a bunch of people playing random games where they sometimes die.
One of the episodes/games of the show is basically just mafia. I wanted to run that. I had to think a little bit about how to make it faithful to the show but also fairly playable as a mafia game.
If it ended early I had other games from the show that had some social deception element. You, as the "Gamers," were just existing in this world and playing the various games.
Regardless of what the role PM said it really was just x townies vs 1 bad guy. I don't think it was particularly "balanced" in the sense if you ran it 100 times Osiris wouldn't win half the time (or whatever statistical amount JoH is supposed to win)
It was pretty interesting to watch though. It was essentially a test of your ability to towntell to your teammates and collaborate in the night chat. Teammates didn't necessarily have to keep you alive except that they needed to gun for the JoH so if they thought you were town, maybe they'd collaborate. This was one major detail that was inconsistent from the show - in the show there's some implied motive not to just randomly kill people, but here the stakes are kind of lower. I was surprised people generally didn't want to kill each other.

The first chat was very interesting to see. In general it was interesting to see matty piece the game together (he kind of got stuff - for example: he suggested hunting for face cards before the JoH was even in the game. Everybody started as a gamer for a few hours and then JoH was rolled from gamers). These guys generally towntold pretty well to each other
Chat 2 - similarly some degree of towntelling with Osiris kind of sitting back a little. Krazy lied to Nma (owned lol)
Chat 3 I felt kind of bad for - ■■■ and Jcrispy got a little bit screwed as the only ones in a 2-player chat. But on the other hand both basically suicided - Jcrispy right off the bat was like "I'ma random roll this shit" and ■■■ didn't even submit a guess for his suit
Btw everything was random rolled. Suits, night chats, JOH selection.
Night 2 chats were also random rolled. Osiris could've chosen who chats with who to try and manipulate, but forgot to do so. I wanted solo chats at this point because there's a better chance of someone lying.
Somewhere in here I thought Osiris might actually win if he just plays as town. Then he did lie in his chats, which probably would've got him killed, but SuPA failed to submit his guess and the day ended up confusing anyway. Somehow bazinga just breaks his tunnel of matty momentarily and Osiris dies. From there I was just wrapping up the game
Thanks for playing. I have already started watching another Netflix show - will let you know when I finish and we can play another half-baked setup
I think it's pretty hard for JOH yeah, but he still almost won. I dont know how you'd fix a stalemate, thankfully plenty of players killed themselves or others for no reason and made it very competitive.
