Analysing User's Psyches Through Jung - Guide For Forum Relations

I think it’s ok that you’re disagreeing. I’m not trying to have an argument - I just think it’s definitely a shovel and spade topic in terms of metaphorical archaeological digging so to speak.

However I shant dismiss the notion that typology is preventing us from being us. Typology is essential especially as an online community for categorising and organising the personalities due to more optimal and flame free threads.

You don’t think it’s Ok because this is a “videogame forum”? It’s not. It’s called NaMafia for christ’s sake. People are people everywhere and just because it’s a forum that was previously based on games doesn’t mean that these typology’s aren’t OK.
It’s good to know people’s personality’s to know how to deal with them especially in a mafia forum (which you don’t play) so in fact the truth is the polar opposite of what you’re saying. You may be paranoid about discovering your narcissism still but people out there want to know.

Typology helps people learn mafia and analyze the game better.

It is the person’s fault that they fall into the stereotype. That’s just the fact of life.

@a2pas I do not feel that we should subsidize personal attacks as a lesser evil - they are deeply hurtful to some people depending on the scenario.

Thanks for all the insights Big Benny I will be using these to improve my Mafia gaming

The scenario of a group of strangers trying to meet eachother on an online forum is not one of those scenarios.

And why is that? You previously made a separation between discussing politics online and discussing it in real life too for some reason - which is as Illogical as this statement.

It is definitely one of those scenarios. The internet is harbour to some of the most hurtful personal attacks out there. Pretending like we can’t hurt peoples feelings is insanity and we should always be delicate when dealing with people. @a2pas

Typology isn’t delicate compared to generic flaming.

No problem - I did make them for mafia hahaha!

You’re right. Typology isn’t delicate yet it is still important. I never claimed it was delicate - you did!

It is unimportant. People are their own selves, not some sort of convenient “type” you assign them.

You’re wrong. The smartest minds for centuries have agreed that people can be categorized.

You’re basically contradicting all you were saying in the last two days here - why?

Populations can be categorized, into strata, fine. There’s no point in placing an individual person in one rigid bin, though.

What makes it rigid? Your thought processes are too rigid, you keep putting things in the shallowest way possible

There is definitely a point - a more optimal forum. I speak for all when I say that we can’t have people just fighting every thread and understanding their archetype is essential to an argument free and enjoyable environment. We need to focus more on bonding for the forum and this is undeniably the first step.
