I think participation requirements are fucking pompous bullshit. I grew up playing 20 person games where 2-3 player slots would have life stuff come up and barely post and you would have to make your lynch decisions around that.
Furthermore part of power role gameplay ENCOURAGES saying little or not towntelling early. As VTs had 1-shot namekill in this format I wanted to stay off the radar so I could pick out a maf.
But I couldn't because I got subbed with zero warning.

While I don't like mandated participation metrics (x posts per day) they were pretty upfront about it and I dont think you can be mad about getting subbed if you didn't meet them
Even considering mandated participation per day isn't the best, participation as a whole is still an important issue and if you're signing games and just not posting people aren't going to like it
It's not really fair to town to say "You should EXPECT to have 2 or 3 players that don't play and have to lynch around that." Especially if it's the same 2 or 3 players consistently.
