Is it better to have Trump's handling of the JCPOA or Biden's?
biden supports the Paris climate agreement of which trump withdrew out
The camps were indeed built under Obama/Biden and used under Obama/Biden, but was the situation or use the same? Nope. Those camps suck, but Obama and Biden did not have a zero tolerance policy that filled them up. They were used for 3 day stays under Obama/Biden. Under Trump, zero tolerance policy fills them beyond capacity and they are held there indefinitely. Is that not a difference?
I get that it feels wrong to vote for people or policies at odds with what you believe, but one of these men will win, and their administrations will not have the same results.
I love when people name drop Japan to rationalize their right wing immigration ideas like plasma. One of the most far right wing parties in the country has a policy of allowing tons of new migrants to the country, to increase the population to as high as 300 million (up from their current 120 million). Their situation has gotten so bad without immigration that they are openly advocating for the what conspiracy theorists say is being done to Europe. They are literally going "we need foreigners to come here and fuck". I saw a lot of their signs for the rep running for them where I lived. It had the slogan "WE NEED A TOUGH LADY"
Increasing immigration is a common sense mainstream policy there because they see how damaging it has been to not have it. Their debate is more about immigrant labor rights (the left wants them to have equal labor rights, and the right wants to pretend they already do when they don't, etc). And before you say "well then why don't they allow more immigrants!?" they just did. These policies have begun. They just began their policy of allowing hundreds of thousands of low skill laborers into the country. I saw a lot of media coverage about it when I was there.
how will material conditions change under biden? care to explain?
kanye is too late to enter as candidate in quite a few states
talk about Late Registration
u still pretending ur votes gonna affect the outcome?
I get not voting, but it's kind of weird to actively go after people who do and want to discuss why
huber is 100% right, you guys should listen to him.
also if you think about in terms of ONLY how it affects you personally, and not say the future of our species re: climate change, you are being really fucking selfish
I get that you didnt ask to be born in the USA, but you are, so that means you have a responsibility to vote for not just yourself but also everyone else as well, because your govt. impacts EVERYONE ELSE
trying to imply trumps 2020-2024 admin would be âbasically the sameâ as Bidens is a fucking JOKE, willfull ignorance because if you read up on the green peace deal you would realise they are not the same AT ALL. one of trumps FIRST THINGS he did after getting in was to dismantle the EPA. FIRST THINGS HE DID.
also judging Bidens 2020 team based on the 2016 joke squad is unfair, and judging the whole democrat party based on Hillarys warmongering during Obamas second term again, is not fair.
Hillary hasnât been included, if you hadnât noticed. So until she is, stop using her to judge what the new cabinet may or may not do.
Whoever is doing that is doing the same as people who judged trump by Bush Jr.
also if Marx, Lenin, Engels, Trotsky, or any other Marxist had known about climate change they would have been RADICALLY AGAINST IT, probably to the point of encouraging violence against those who support it (Trotsky would have, anyway) but if you donât feel like becoming a domestic terrorist I suggest you get out and vote because thatâs ALL YOU HAVE GOT RIGHT NOW, outside of revolutionary activities. (which are not mainstream enough or understoof well enough to even work in the USA today)
you can also believe in armed revolution being the only way forward in the USA (if you really truly believe that) and STILL VOTE. YOU CAN DO BOTH, there is no reason you cannot. none.
Tell me, what the fuck changes will Biden make that even have the slightest chance of being enough to avert the climate crisis?
if it cant be averted, it can be slowed down. and you donât actually know if it can be or not.
what he will do is MORE THAN TRUMP, and that is all that matters, they are your only two choices
Like, damn dude, you're dumb as fuck. You know Biden is a warmonger too, right?
Climate change is more important than anything else
Short of a Nuclear holocaust which I would say could happen under either admin.
Biden opposes the Green New Deal lol. He says it's a crucial framework on his campaign site, then his plans aren't anything like it. He calls for net-zero emissions by 2050 lmao
âBiden believes the new âGreen New dealâ is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face.â
Taken from his campaign website, if you choose not to believe that I canât change that but that is LITERALLY SOMETHING HE IS CAMPAIGNING ON
A little bit different from Donald âfuck the world in the ass, also fracking and coal are coolâ Trump if you ask me
The article you linked is just editorializing the shit out of what has been said
