For example: The full transcript of the George Floyd arrest is out. Have you read it? Have you gone through it?
Is it consistent with the narrative that he was unfairly targetted by racist cops?
Is there a reason you haven't read it/it hasn't reached you via social media?

of course you can be violent against a building. buildings are owned by people. people work in those buildings. people buy gucci stores in those buildings. people's retirement funds are in shares of the company of which the building is a part.
i think you would be understandably upset if your house was destroyed, or your workplace was destroyed and you lost your job, or your favorite store was destroyed, or your retirement account lost some dollars because of destruction of value.
violence against property (things of value) is bad. violence against people is bad. riots are bad because they are violent against property. police brutality is bad because it is violence against people, so protest are good.
