I would if I could
literally everything that says bad things about the fascists - fake news
some random dude in a suit talking about how brave his federal officers are and how evil the 'radical left' is for doxxing the ones who brutalise people without cause - real news
I'm not conservative and don't watch conservative media
Do u really think you get an accurate view of the situation from your 30 second (or even 10 minute) clips of the situation?
For example: The full transcript of the George Floyd arrest is out. Have you read it? Have you gone through it?
Is it consistent with the narrative that he was unfairly targetted by racist cops?
Is there a reason you haven't read it/it hasn't reached you via social media?
And do you even care, since you already have your political viewpoint and are really just here to defend it (slowdive/lbj)
sexy lie lady with her little crucifix talking about how important children and education are - real news
the CDC - fake news
dude at a certain point you do not need context, because there is no context that makes it okay to pull down the face mask of a kid with his hands up and spray him point blank in the face with pepper spray
there is no context that makes it okay to kill a sobbing man crawling on his hands and knees towards you in a hotel hallway while giving him bizzare confusing and conflicting commands while simultaneously telling him over and over you are going to shoot him and he is going to die
there is no context that makes it okay to kneel on a mans neck for 9 minutes while he tells you he can't breathe, no matter what cocktail of drugs he may have been on
there is no context that makes clubbing journalists and shooting them in the eyes with rubber bullets okay
there is no context that makes shoving an old man to the pavement and giving him permanent brain damage okay
what they are doing is NOT FUCKING OKAY. PERIOD.
of course you can be violent against a building. buildings are owned by people. people work in those buildings. people buy gucci stores in those buildings. people's retirement funds are in shares of the company of which the building is a part.
i think you would be understandably upset if your house was destroyed, or your workplace was destroyed and you lost your job, or your favorite store was destroyed, or your retirement account lost some dollars because of destruction of value.
violence against property (things of value) is bad. violence against people is bad. riots are bad because they are violent against property. police brutality is bad because it is violence against people, so protest are good.
riots bad, protest good. why u heff 2 defend riot? dont get it.
what is it with non-americans being the most vocal when it comes to american politics like fuck off lmao
because we care about the world and what happens to it and your country figures into that in a big way
what's with Americans and thinking non-American's opinions aren't valid when it comes to their country
oh it probably seems weird to you because you pay next to no attention to any other country on earth and you genuinely don't understand the concept, it's just foreign to you
i mean i think non-american opinions aren't valid in general so i'm probably not the best person to ask
I agree
And it's also not OK when the protesters do it and say they're doing it to fight fascism
but they are fighting fascism you fucking stupid idiot
Also before u respond I am not saying the two sides are equivalent or equivalent in their use of unnecessary force
there are isolated instances where somebody will get wrongly targetted but that's unavoidable the whole entire point is it's retaliatory and a result of escalationist police tactics
I flagged your post for calling me an idiot
wrong and wrong
Your violence isn't justified by saying it's retaliatory
That's how actual genocides happen. Very basic first step
No rioting is awesome and i don't think you should be policing people on how they want to exercise their free speech.
Stop hand wringing over insured buildings and insured items getting messed with. People's lives are worth more
dude you can't be this obtuse
