the handling of the dapl is like probably one of the most fucked up things i think thats happened in the last 10 years.
maybe thats a huge exaggeration but im really surprised its not talked about much in terms of criticisms of the obama administration.

My (rather liberal) friends and I always bitched about Obama’s bad policy even back in 2014
To be fair, he didn't do anything about DAPL, but he also didn't orchestrate the horrific response using federal agents. Same with Ferguson. His Occupy response, however...
I think that is being a bit too nice. Not doing anything while the state forces were doing what they did was a conscious choice he made.
And we both know had that happened under Trump and he did the same thing, they would make it about Trump.
Oh yeah I agree that doing nothing to stop that shit is horrific and just as bad, but people will say, "Trump's worse because Obama didn't send federal agents in!" Then you point them to the FBI and DHS fucking shit up with Occupy
