RE: what about progressives, what about supporters of Bernie and Warren? - point out that Harris is black and a woman, say the party is "unified"
And of course emphasize that it's extremely important to defeat Trump, now is not the time to ask any tough questions
Harris is not likable, Biden is not likable, they are unified by their atrocious track records and long history of policies that hurt poor people (of all colors but especially black)
And for the record Trump/ Pence are also unlikable abominations but Trump will win out with charisma as usual

shortened a bit lately (last 2 weeks) but the nom had no significant impact on the odds it seems
might even place some money on harris, 73:1 on biden getting a terminal illness at the age of 77 doesn't seem like too bad of a deal

If Biden chose a likeable candidate it would be seen as those who are undecided that he is pandering, whereas Trump would do the same but seem strong because of it. Biden is trying to be seen as strong and willing ng yo do the the things he needs to, regardless of how well liked they are
