President Camacho soon.
I've very much enjoyed burrying myself in something of a political black hole recently, I didn't vote in the last presidential election and I probably won't bother to vote in this one either.
All we can do is hope the people of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Florida, & Michigan etc. make the correct decision for the rest of us.
I might be more engaged if Alex Jones hadn't been de-platformed, as I'm ashamed to admit I kinda miss him
I'm voting for Joe Biden
Mass voter suppression through closing of polling stations, e.g. the Georgia governor's race, means that's not sufficient
That isn't to say I advocate voting for anyone
I live in Washington, it is enough for me - this state's votes are going to Biden.
We've been voting by mail for decades and are in no danger of having our processes compromised (our post offices have gone rogue and refused to dismantle mail sorting machines lol) You can also just drop your ballot off at the auditors office whenever you want weeks before hand.
That being said I'd like to see the voting system overhauled with some kind of secure universal cryptographic solution and force everyone to vote in the style of Belgium.
It's absolutely ridiculous the most powerful office in the world is being decided by <20% of the American population.

I'm not talking about voting by mail. I'm talking about poor black neighborhoods having one polling station for as many people as a dozen stations in an upper-middle class white neighborhood. This has been going on for years. When election day isn't a holiday and you've got 6 hour long poll lines, it's pretty hard to vote
Yeah I'm aware of that situation and how corona is being used as an excuse to strategically shutdown polling stations that are easily accessible to black neighborhoods.
It's disgusting and I find it ridiculous how in 2020 we have political campaigns backed by billions of dollars from special interest groups and yet the underlying system that decides the outcome of this shit show still consists of working people having to lineup and shove poorly formatted pieces of paper into boxes during work days.
Election day should be a national holiday.
Maybe corona will be good for this because now it'll happen to everyone and people will be pissed, rather than it just happening to poor black people
i dont know, I think it's possible it doesn't happen to everyone and simply becomes another arrow in the quiver for gerrymandering twats to re-sculpt districts on an even more granular level
Me personally? I'm voting for Joe Biden
Fair. I've heard a shitload about people not getting mail and massive delays in it, but in my affluent suburb haven't experienced any of that
Bro what the actual fuck is going on
Apparently it was a sketch for the 2012 rnc convention
How did this just never hit the airwaves in the 2015 primary like it should be wildly disqualifying and folks just had access and were like nah
when will you admit Biden is so clearly the lesser of two evils?
not to mention the drain on people’s mental health causes by Trump’s bullshit day in day out
