Avatar: the Last Airbender - Day 2

What did this mean

You didn't try to steer the lynch. Nolynch wasn't happening and you should know better than that.

Iā€™m not steering shit I canā€™t control a lynch train when I canā€™t even tell if Iā€™m seeing a bunch of towns murdering eachother or a bunch of scum looking players murdering eachother

Plus I thought no lynch was just not lynching

The fact that everyone wanted to lynch just drove me crazy

Iā€™m toph, I canā€™t see, all I can do is feel the vibrations from everyone else
Some people put out wavy vibes, thatā€™s good
Other people put out solid vibes, thatā€™s good too
I stay on the lookout for those putting out spicy vibes tho

Sarcasm to cover bad panic plays is spicy

Slowdive's scum, textbook bad/no effort scum player. Doesn't read the thread (doesn't find the motivation without being town), just puts the vote on whoever voted him and gets on with his day.

@mafiabot lynch @anon31000304

He's received literally no pressure despite being scummy as fuck

yknow i used to think this and then one day i realized i had it backwards

i think he feels bad for his scum team if he rolls scum and doesnt read the thread

idk the simplest explanatino would be yours

The strangest thing is that everyone has been ignoring him, people haven't been ignoring other semi-AFK's like Roragok. No one has even mentioned slowdive

You feel overly chummy as well. "Hey I think you got it wrong, No offense though!".

Well its a brand new day. In my mind we need to be looking into the players that were not involved in the voting of kyle or asoul day1. I think they both individually made themselves look scummy enough and it being day1 poses interesting voting mechanics to look at.

In my opinion the most likely scum from these votes are going to be the people that are throwing/leaving votes on the single people.

ironstove, slowdive, LuckyArtist and Klaze are people who have votes on, but not in a meaningful way.
I'm going to iso the four players and see if something jumps out but for right now they are my bad vibes/shit list.

Everyone else who voted is at least trying to solve the game, while those four are just gonna be like look at me im the mvp i didn't lynch town!!1.

While I can agree with the concept in a vaccuum, two of those players were AFK prior to the point when it became obvious it was either kyle or asoul who was getting lynched, and I gave reasoning why I voted slowdive.

Also, since we're using metareads, I think scum is much more likely to waddle around aimlessly, nodding their head in agreement with everyone and never settling on a lynch.

I'm not scum sir

I'm town.

Town reading... Epok, Supa, Lbj, and nyte.

Not town reading Matt based on his interactions w nyte not feeling towny.

Klaze based on his interactions w wing ding in d1

And kkat

So, I didn't have an opportunity to read every post in d1, I'm in the middle of moving apartments, but could someone give me a tl Dr on how the Lynch train shifted over to Kyle and wing ding? I dont see anything glaringly obvious about either trains voting block so if someone on each Train could give the cliff notes on what the motivation was

Matt mentioned he wanted wing ding lynched because he could be a good mafia player.

I understand the sentiment, as it feels bad to be out witted as town, but usually a good mafia player also indicates a half decent town player.

There were also follow up comments about wing ding being more pro town than Kyle by Matt, so one thing that really stands out to me about Matt is the logic for allowing a wing ding push on d1.

Usually you reserve the strong players for the end since they can still contribute more than town. Like, if I was active town this game I'd want active town players alive and participating so it makes it easier for me to town clear them.

The last thing I'd want to keep alive is the current shots tain of a player I am in this game so the motivation to risk losing a strong town player and keep a weak town player should outweigh the reward of potentially catching mafia on d1 when all reads are built on hunches.

BTW some people in my experience will intentionally play very vaguely as town in order to have a better shot as mafia. Usually if you play too strong of a town, it comes with the trade off of being very poor at mafia, because it's much harder to fabricate good analysis so being too good at analyzing player interactions makes it very easy for other players to spot something is wrong when their golden goose stops laying eggsm

Speaking of vague town analysis - could you elaborate on why you thought I was scum based on my interactions with wingding?

Who's scum then?
