I had a dream where the devil was systematically removing all life from the universe as grotesquely as possible and would do so by sending these demons that when you were around them you would jump consciousness from you to others as you watched your loved ones get tortured to death and you would feel at once the grief from every single person important to you as the blood splattered and filled the snow until you were the only one left. You look up in the sky and all life is extinguished. There are no lights. There are no sounds. There is truly nothing to live for. You are the last thing that is alive in the entire universe, the last thing that experiences time in any meaningful way.
