small world is easy fun as well
I used to play some zombie survival game where you added more to the layout each turn so each game ended up with a different ‘map’ each time
fuck that was such a fun game
you drew cards for items and weapons and you also got to choose where the zombies sometimes so you could fuck people over
wish I could remember the name
Found this bad boy unopened at a garage sale earlier this year gonna try and figure it out
Whole lotta chits . Feels really weird punching out 45 year old chits.
20 sided die numbered 1-10 twice for rolling % casualties. D10's must have been a trickier make maybe too expensive in 1978
Chits needed for the aptly named Operation Brevity tutorial scenario. German and italian on the left british on the right
should've kept it closed and sold it for money. what are you thinking man
I wanna play with my toys. If i was wheeling and dealing I'd be better off with magic cards.
bad boy retails for $85 i picked it up for 35 so i could have made a nice chunk of change but i'd just buy another copy anyway so yea
i have a shiny akroma angel of wrath in sick condition, my fav magic card
Found Root on the FB marketplace for 20 dollars. Have wanted to play it but now I need to convince my friends to learn an assymetric wargame
Business walrus
i was kidding but when i saw your unboxing pics i was like wtf this is super quality
historical wargaming has more or less been replaced by newer substitutes like warhammer at a commercial level. you'll still find some collectors but most of the crowd is quite old and there are very few meetups. not talking shit warhammer owns even if games workshop is the worst. it's just leagues ahead in terms of miniatures and presentation to what these old games could muster. these are more for people who enjoy learning a bit of history (orders of battle, geography, troop dispositions) while they game
if you want to keep your kids off drugs get them into warhammer and magic. they'll have no money left
Just got codename duets. Excited to play!
