this shit is so disgusting. it's bad enough that games release bugged and unfinished because AAA companies will just crank out 5 10 gig patches in the first 2 weeks but now they want to fuck you so bad you don't even actually own the game unless you sign into 50 online services

the video game industry is now a larger market than movies and music combined. im sure a lot of that is mobile and gacha games but the greed and shortsighted business models have infiltrated almost every AAA publisher and they bully their devs into making the games to milk and squeeze every dollar they can immediately
