This game is kind of annoying it’s like warhammer with generals with abilities and shit but it just gets fucking annoying unlike warhammer. I’m trying to fight a battle right now and the other general has like 4 “generals” or whatever in their army and it little makes my entire infantry like start routing before they’ve even made contact with the enemy army
Like I got units nearly full only have taken some minor missile damage and they’re just fucking routing because of some mixture of flaming arrow morale drop and enemy general passives lowering morale it’s like??? Can I just play this battle out
Not to mention this gay ass duel system LET ME JUST FIGHT THE BATTLE HOLY FUCK
Stop paying attention for 5 seconds because I’m microing units getting flanked by cavalry and the enemy general has challenged my weakest general to a duel and because i forgot to click the decline all duels option it automatically accepts it after like 5-10 seconds now one of my generals dies and my units start running away

i think you can disable romance mode which makes the generals more like traditional total war generals with basic bodyguards and less crazy abilities

I honestly don't care who hosts the game and don't even really want to host it myself. I just wanted a round 2 of Panic at the Forum because the first round sucked due to severe town misplay
