I mean everybody gets to sign the setups they want to play and ideally not signing a setup wouldn’t mean you just have to sit out for a little while but sometimes it does mean that
I don’t think anybody should be discouraged from contributing if they want to put in the effort to host. That’s not to say people shouldn’t be given feedback - most setups need feedback and iteration - but ultimately if someone wants to do something you don’t want to be the guy in the corner just going “this sucks, stop doing it” over and over again
for the record J-Dance i think if u want to host the setup and see what happens, do it. best case, we actually have a fun and engaging game, worst-case some nerds go through the motions and it’s over in 2 days.
