The solve is for everyone to Target the person below them on the list. It gives you like an 83% chance of killing mafia n1 and you get pretty much all roles down save 2 or 3 that scum have to cc in
You could probably just run medical mafia without deepthroat

You can run a little micro-game with the people who die from an ongoing 17 person game or something
Once our site is a little more mafia-capable we can run blitz games and test all sorts of setups
The cost is like 3 hours on a saturday afternoon and people can just do whatever with the setup

The problem with it is the same as jdance’s: it’s a gamesolve with a very high percentage chance of working, so either town wins or it becomes a slog through the game
You just put people in the game who aren’t going to gamesolve it and it’s fine.
Could you think of of a way of balancing it instead of just putting it down?
Maybe give scum a roleblocker or a jailerkeeper? Maybe even a redirector or a bus driver?
Why not just pick a different setup? Why spend time fixing a broken setup when there’s six million others that work just fine?
This is the same argument jdance used about his setup?

My constructive opinion is pick a premade, tested setup that doesn’t suck
My mentor for running a mafia game was @roragok. I asked him in pm’s about balance. He told me that if you have to decide between making a balanced game and making a fun game, go for fun over balance.
I would rather play a fun unbalanced game over a balanced unfun game.

So think of a way to balance it and still make it fun.
Or just use a different setup
