It’s probably good for treating epilepsy but I can’t tell you for certain and you can’t tell me for certain either. I can say without a doubt more research needs to be done before anyone can claim it is effective treatment for anything

Dude you seem to be having a hard time comprehending that “studies point to” is completely different from “proven to be an effective treatment” studies point to a lot of things and not everything they point to turns out to be correct.
There haven’t been enough studies done yet at a large enough scale to rule out common things such as the placebo effect.
If that was one or two studies you'd be right, but there have been dozens if not hundreds of them and they all say the same thing.
