Considering dropping out to be a python programmer

i feel like programmers tend to get caught up in their niche and forget that theres a lot of different shit that requires different skillsets / rewards different types of code.

my sister who works in finance and codes in that realm def uses a lot of lin alg tho

friend is the most autistic fucking moron in this thread

Genuine question: what, aside from web dev and front end design, doesn’t use parallelization or processing numerical data?

front end design is like a shit load of things

Alright, so we’ve got web dev and front end design. Anything else?

Uhm excuse me?

The vast majority of development doesn’t use linear algebra

If I could hire a developer with respect for his betters or a developer who knows linear algebra it wouldn’t even be a competition

Additionally I will posit that friend is the only tolerable person in this thread

theres nothing tolerable about using nadota for a half decade then posting responses like that in between “we should cancel math” and “if you don’t know linear algebra you aren’t a programmer”

Blind as usual
