Cooking thread

I am too much of an engineer.
This is what I wrote up to plan for our Christmas ham to be served at 5:00 pm:

8.65 pounds.
12-15 minutes per pound.
325 degrees
1 hr 45 minutes to 2 hrs 10 minutes
140 degrees and let sit 5-10 minutes

1:00 Take it out and score and prep and preheat.
2:00 Start cooking.
4:30 Done.
4:45 Carve.
5:00 Ready to eat.

Will posts pics for sure.
My recipe is killer.

I did the math at 3/4 pounds per person and it comes out to 11.5 servings.
If no one shows up, then I will need more recipes for the leftovers.
Some of it will be saved for the new years black-eyed peas.
Any suggestions for the rest?

nice. i'd triple the onions on there but i'm a bit of a freak for onions. looks good though those tortillas are perfect

shredded chicken im guessing?

im going to make steak and amogue next for my sister's birthday this week. ill try to remember to take pictures but my hands get so dirty all the time it's a pain

Yeah roasted chicken quarters. The tortillas were surprisingly easy to do without a press. Just put my weight into a cutting board over the counter

american costco might have them? idk, theyre from my local costco

I'll find out. Might just be pricey because of your Canadian meat problems that I've heard of
