The game released with these graphics 3 months ago. It's all from the DCSS (dungeon crawl stone soup) open tileset.

The server has been down for a bit since nobody is paying for it - I'll put it back up soon if I can afford it.
Currently working on the next project.
This guy played a version of the game completely different from anything I saw when I played. Hope this doesn't impact what is possible on the hiscores (as the current/maybe former? world champion of this game)
Score data is pretty basic you should be able to host it very cheaply/free without much effort
He played the Alternative route that was added in the expansion a month ago.
Scandevall retook the world record as far as I remember.
I think probably you paid for "a server" to host "an api" to do CRUD on what is essentially 15 lines of json and ran out of money after a couple months

No it was brendan letting me put the server up on the same vps we put teamspeak on, but then it went down when brendan decided to stop paying and go absent to pursue his career as a bug bounty hunter (and potentially harcore World of Warcraft player)
