You see that's not accurate, because dropping new tiles is not actually the same as randoming the board from scratch, I think.
I don't think it's accurate but I don't think it really matters.
Depends on whether its 10% or 90% accurate, I have a feeling that neither of us actually know that.
Regardless, I feel like we might have a fully functioning bejeweled simulator ready for any experiments though lol.
Here's the real simulation.
N is the number of colors.
N Choose 1, N choose 1. TRUE IF SAME, ESLE REPEAT UP TO 4 times.
I want to have a PHD in bejeweled analysis before I'm done with this project.
maybe instead of "only using two tiles" you should just use one.
I don't want set my apartment of fire, the computer would explode.
i posted it first
I read the whole stackexchange page and theres no answer there.
The core gameplay loop is genuinely good
I was in ts when you said "When i play it it just feels like boring and shit"
I died in Gehenna 7 today on my sword merfolk it was so fucking sad cringe
I know I said that, but it was still in half-jest to get a laugh out of the people in the call. There are some encounters and mechanics I really enjoy.
Plus it doesn't feel any less rewarding having a "good run" than having a good run in Crawl or another roguelike.
The issue we're having is making it unique and complex, more interesting. Right now it is a bejeweled port of Crawl, which you might enjoy.
youre a complete fucking moron for trying to convince me on a "5x5 board with 2 tiles"
Borrow some elements from dark soul like some cool music for the boss fights
Also it's gotta have babes
hurrr 3 unique tiles but the tiles have to do random amount sof damage
