Not a 100% but I think it has to be able to hear for dissonant whispers. The armor doesnā€™t have a language.

Ignore everything I posted below, per RAW(rules as written), the armor wouldn't take any damage.

Summary

I may be wrong, but I believe it would still take damage, it would just auto-succeed the saving throw and not have to move away. Acting as if it was deafened?

On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage and doesnā€™t have to move away. A deafened creature automatically succeeds on the save.

you dont need to roll for frostbite. The Armor must make a saving throw.

@SCSF can you roll your 1d6 damage though.

also if anyone has any suggestions on how to speed up combat that would be great. maybe people just declare/roll ahead of time?

Oh I was choosing it based on the fact that it would auto take half damage. Where are the raw rules?
