I’m assuming some school of magick was involved to animate the suit. If only he could harness the same energy and recreate the effect for himself…

Seeing as Brendan has been entirely worthless as Mukk's "armor" (didn't absorb damage when he could), i purpose a new use for him. 
you have no idea how tempted i was to instead cast ice knife right into mukk’s neck when i used healing touch on him.
