I found the lategame goo build
Escalating exposure, diviners kevlar, mystic shot
Splatter max and splatter focused items with superior cooldown on ball
Played it out until the server shutdown. I am something of a goo expert
There are 2 builds I am trying to decide between (late game)
Early is always max splatter and spirit to farm waves and neutrals and get kills in lane
Then once your splatter/spirit build is maxed you can either go escalating exposure and mystic shot/spirit shot bullets. Very high damage output
Or you can go diviner's kevlar and duration extend the ult. Permanently bounce around stunning people and spamming abilities in teamfights
There is also a tech. Blink forward crystal makes ball a lot easier to control as you can set a forward direction even if your ball wasn't traveling in that direction.
There is an item that lets you riki blink strike - I have not tried yet but I think it is actually core in real games because you can blink on an ulting Seven for example and stun him out of it
One problem I am having is I want to have games where I can build all this shit and test it out but majority of games don't get to that point.
Probably 30% are total stomp/somebody drops out. 15% you get the wrong hero and have to play some stupid non-goo character. Then another 40% just end before lategame. You max splatter and that's it, you're already winning before deciding what you need for lategame teamfights.
Anyway I think the diviner kevlar ultra-survivable blink ball is going to be the main build, disrupting big ults and stunning a bunch of people in teamfights is too good, plus you have incredible chase and solo kill potential
The only thing that really needs testing is how to best use your slots and whether any other random active items have good interactions

I think you could actually rush movement items, they are extremely good in ball
May try when the game is online again
set the priority to purple instead of what youre currently using to get slime guy more often
did not realize the graphics were so cartoony looking
makes me less keen to try it
I did watch some gameplay though and it looks kinda fun

Something I noticed which might be bad for this game long term
The streamer/advanced player community is intolerable. Dude bros with potty mouths and bad attitude
I think they came from Overwatch. One of the worst gaming communities to ever exist
Interestingly my matches are perfectly fine. Barely anybody doing toxic comms or anything like that
I think because in the alpha the ban/report function is pretty punishing. They just straight up perma ban people for consistently leaving or being unpleasant
So these guys aren't actually saying this stuff in game but when you listen to them on stream, they are intolerable. Bad role models for the community and maybe a bad sign for its future as more people come and start emulating that behavior

yeah i tried to watch a stream and couldn't understand why all the high skill players were so intolerable. i just assumed they were teenagers or something but maybe they are valorant or overwatch players.

the intolerables are 100% valorant players
idk what it is with that game but all the super sweaty toxic CS players migrated over where as the chill ppl tended to stick with CSgo
huge generalization but when I was playing CS alot the toxic players were almost always valorant players as well

I was feeling like it's something like all the people in the alpha didn't have jobs
Like the way they were acting and speaking - it's like do you not interact with normal people in life
So the "top" players now are weirdos and there hasn't been enough time for normal people to filter in to the game/get good enough to be "top"
thats probably a good read. there has to be something wrong with you if you've already logged 1100 hours in the game.
i feel like csgo players were weirdly racist but otherwise pretty chill in matchmaking. i was called n-word lover dozens of times cuz my steam display picture was future's dirty sprite 2 album cover lol.
