Games before the patch - everything very serious, people using voice comms to call targets and talk strategy, game goes about how you'd expect it to go
Played a game just now. First of all two people in the game said the n word (one on voice immediately on game start)
Same player said it was his first game and legitimately played like it. Then at the end 2nd n-word dropped (this time by enemy, who would have had no awareness of the first), presumably because they somehow lost to this guy
Just a bunch of random stuff happening and people dying all over. Game quality way, way down
I support perma hardware bans that they've been doing for toxic players and think they are not being aggressive enough. Now's the time to set the community culture, once it goes to wider release it will already be too late

I can give some insight as someone who played in those super high elo lobbies in like July right before I went on vacation for a month. I played with all those dudes hydration Vegas car battery cat girl etc just the same lobbies with the same common faces through a bunch of games. They are definitely all younger like 17-21 years old and a lot of them are on some weird tranny shit which wouldn’t be that bad alone but they’re just smug weirdos
I think they’re just young and since we’re all older now hearing a bunch of 19 year olds talk smugly to people and whine about shit in a video game is very grating

Some of them are ok, keep voice comms mainly to callouts and shit but dudes like Vegas, hydration, leefa (who I think is EU, never actually played with him) have had dudes following their demos since earlier on in the play test when like 5000 people were playing the game a night

I think the lanes change mega nerfed me, I am on an outside lane every game and feels like my impact is just that one lane. Can't rotate and kill that easily any more

Side lane/solo lane gameplay definitely evolved to be a lot more focused on that specific lane in this patch
I also heard in top games everybody is buying boots of speed right now. I have historically been a stam instead of speed buyer. I think it is a more interesting playstyle/has higher skill expression
the sprint boots? I have been buying them for months now and people used to not buy them as often but the stats are good and once you get used to buying them on characters when you don't buy them you just feel super slow
Do you buy extra stam/kinetic dash in addition to boots? I was treating it as a one or the other thing before the patch but now prob have to find slots for all of the above
When I dont have kinetic dash thats when I feel slow moving around the map
Also at my level you can outplay people by having good movement (dash jumps and other tech - these are great additions to the game) whereas in top lobbies it's probably just standard to be able to use all the little movement techs the game has
you can outplay people with movement stuff and additional sprint is always good as the game really does feel like you almost can't die if you still have sprint up. I almost never build extra stam though I don't know I just don't like it as much as just having passively faster movement when running across the map but I also play characters like mo and krill or warden where the extra ms stacks with abilities you are using already which makes it feel better. I know on like haze people would build extra stam almost always but not sure if they still do. I think people also prefer to build something like kinetic dash on those auto attack type heroes
Stam is really good on aerial movement characters
Viscous, Lash
I will probably learn Lash if I decide to go hard on a new character at some point due to his personality and general appearance matching mine the most out of all characters
Most of the bullet characters you dont have to actually do anything to learn to play them
Haze - just click things. If you're losing buy ricochet and farm until you have unstoppable and just win the game by pressing 2 buttons
New guy - I played him like shadow demon, just click things and they take poison damage later. Laning stage is identical to shadow demon
Mo and Krill is a cool character I would probably learn that one too. Decent game sense / skill expression hero
mo and krill is dumb and will probably get nerfed soon just like bebop did which i also spammed until they nerfed him to the ground. i had like a 70% wr with mo and krill over like 60 games a couple months ago when he was like one of the least played heroes in the game and people are now starting to realize what i realized back then which is that he is kind of busted and you can do tons of dumb shit with him and barely get punished for it
