and about you in particular? idk obviously educated skilled workers who have money are the #1 most desirable type of immigrant, and I canāt properly judge you without a ton of personal information you havent provided
the problem is all the good jobs are in a few cities. people with money arenāt settling in places like the praeries , they are all competing for the same limited number of condos in vancouver toronto and about 3 other cities, people born in those places are being priced out and forced to leave
do I think we should be taking zero migrants/asylum seekers? maybe not zero, but not fucking first in the entire world per capita
the problem is taking in additional people who need to be looked after when we canāt even do that for the people we do have. itās psychotic

I just can't wrap my head around someone thinking they have more of a right to live somewhere just because they were born and raised there. On a country-wide stance.
But I get that there is administration and systems in place that make it logistically impossible to accept any and everyone at once. I can't say I know a thing about Canada's situation (and tbh don't care to learn), but we should lean towards trying to make as much acceptance possible and not the other way around.
