Yours felt the same. Yeah you read the game yeah you are a capable player to summarize what your read into reads but you are missing your town game elements that are easy to spot when you are actually town.

i think my favorite thing when i play mafia is how every single game people say im playing differently LMAO

also i don’t know what sort of grand entrance you expected from me in a game filled with fluff and filler posts.
which i really hope people stop doing. as someone who tried catching up there were a bunch of shitty fluff/filler posts that completely made this shit nearly unbearable to catch up on. 450 posts in a day is pretty gay when 75% of them are trolling

anyone from this point on who is just filling the thread with filler/fluff posts for trolling/memeing is scummy in my eyes.
making a thread unbearably long is a great way to make townies trying to catch up end up skipping posts and missing scum slips.

I am saying you are playing like a scum player, I even gave you an example of one from last game. It is pretty typical for a scum to experience. Which has nothing to do with how you change from game to game. It just has to do with a difficulty of playing scum and having to deal with psychological barriers that being scum creates.
None of your posts read towny this game, not a towny tone, not a towny mind set, no towny fire in your words.

Try hard to find town players. Vs trying hard to find mafia.
You will become a much better mafia player if you learn to do that. There is certain things that only town players would do (unless a player is an amazing mafia player and incorporates those small town tells into his game over time).
It is really easy to fall in love with your mafia read (like kyle last game on me) and tunnel into oblivion disregarding person’s town tells.
An example would be me scum reading Agubar really hard day 1 last game, but I was able to find few town tells in his game that helped me change my mind.
Sometimes it does require you thinking he is scum and hard pushing on your FOS to get a more realistic reaction from him that you can trust for a read, which is what happened.
