I am starting to fall into the “post your VT item” thing here as a good thing.
On the other hand, town power roles should fake claim to hid their roles.
The reason is that in future days, the roles will repeat eventually. Anyone who claims an impossible role is outed as scum.

I think we were probably skirting a grey area already in that we were basically discussing role PMs and at least one person was clear from just the wording he used
In this regard I’m saying this shit was actually benny’s fault and the hosts need to be more careful about the way they PM - or just be posting the VT PM in the OP like Roragok used to do.
You’re right. Half the town has already been pretty much cleared off their item alone. I’m waiting for benny to come on to clarify some interactions before I elaborate on my plan.

At this point I wouldn’t be opposed to a restart but we should just keep going and never mention it again.
Here’s my plan disclosure:
I, like other VTs, knew from the role PM that a bunch of people would be town-clearable based on the fact that the VT role had some elements that would be hard to fake if you hadn’t received the PM. Namely, benny just omitted the mechanic where everybody’s starting with an item, maybe even unique items, from the OP.
Thus, we saw a bunch of players could be cleared on entry.
We can now construct a list and clear a handful of players. A couple players will go in a second list where we are somewhat unsure about their claim (for example, maybe it’s a duplicate. Maybe we want to make a note that the ability isn’t particularly towny. Is it a scum ability tacked on to a fake VT claim?)
I will share these lists but it’s late at night and I’m lazy to go back through the thread and write it up.
I’ll also add the last element of my plan, which I think will differ from whatever Klaze has to say.
I think we have a decent bit of killpower as town. We can select the handful of people who just aren’t towny and kill several in the first day/night. Shoot em if u got em, folks.
