alright i've been putting off playing this and was back it yesterday. beating radagon tonight. have 7 days to finish this game before im out and leaving my gaming pc behind.
gonna just skip all the optional little side dungeons with duplicated boss fights.
My roommate who owned the xbox & elder ring game is gone so the legend of my 9 vigor priest is no more. He made it to the endgame basically but it was getting super gruelling trying to get thru o'neill to test the build on malenia
So much time wasted dying to junk filler mobs hidden in random corners and shit. Not a fun build or game
2:30 is the quality content. i remember trying for so long trying to beat those two nightjars on that ledge and being so relieved at finally progressing only to get gnomed
Sekiro bosses were good for me, I like that the power didn't spike that significantly as you level up so it's not really like you can just "level out" of something or be underleveled and find it next to impossible. if you were losing it was a skill issue & a lot of the progression of the game was actual player skill - learning to mikiri for example, the "power spike" wasn't your player character "learning" the skill but you, the player, actually learning & mastering its use
The fact there are even parts of boss fights - Owl fight, for example - where you can mikiri if you are actually good and he actually mikiris you if given the opportunity - just really good game design
mikiri in elden ring is barricade shield but self proclaimed free thinkers refuse to block because they see the best players rolling around naked with a katana
