i dont agree with everything you typed here.
I believe i owe my creation to him, but i am a learning man.
It is in my best interest to worship but what really is worship should i sacrifice sheep?
In my opinion the best i can do to show my god how grateful i am to have been endowed with life is to live righteously.
God bless all. but i find my time better occupied not in obsession with worship, but with obsession in progress and just living, and learning the world around me. I do my best to not be controlled by vices.
luckily god sent us messengers so we do know how to worship. and the reason I bring this up to you is that the message was to live much how you say people should live in this thread. then living as you suggest throughout this thread righteously, and acknowledging that you owe existence to this one god, is the right thing to do. right?
i believe a lot of the religious fundamentals as important to how our society has progressed so well. A lot of fundamentals have helped us. Not to say that we have learned these fundamentals through religion. As even fundamentals learned through religion have always taken second place to logic.
With our ability to reason and be logical i believe we can sort through the good and the bad. but I am afraid as more people are finding pleasure in what was once bad they ignore its consequences and act as such consequences do not exist, all because the pleasure has become more important to them.
