It's whether or not code gets compiled into assembly language before being run. Like Python vs. C family and Java. Couldn't tell you a second interpreted language, never going to learn one.
I interned in IT in my university but I was so good at my job they kept me on part-time the next year.
I got a couple webdev jobs for small local businesses in my town after I graduated.
Pizza delivery man doesn't think that IT counts as a Comp Sci job.
