Bitcoin bros be like

I'm not suggesting that centralization of anything other than the development strategy is a good thing

just look at Bitcoin imagine if what's his face didn't die and there was the infrastructure to use shit on top

instead you're forcing everyone else to develop their own infrastructure, does that sound optimal to you or appealing to them? does it give longetivity to your meme money?

imagine thinking NFTs are just PFPs and DAOs are just meme crowdfunds and that's all they ever will be

This shit is all just the next fad anyways

It’s worse than the 2017 ICO bullshit

What’s the infrastructure needed? You have bitcoin I have money/goods/services, you pay me for said money/goods/services

Better yet you have monero

I would probably exchange goods or services at a better rate if you had monero

stuff like uniswap has basically proven it's value

Uniswap is only used for eth tokens basically shitcoins, I can’t think of a single useful one besides tether

I popped it open out of curiosity

enjin link gnosis graph healthy projects with good application and/or future

there's probably a case for dai/maker compound

shittier but still decent case for matic maybe ens

aave weth sandbox if I'm barrel scraping

dot looks like it'll be the superior option whenever tf it gets around but until then I don't think dapps are that shit lol

we're not even talking about some of the fun liquidty memes like flash/nft loans

How many of those do you think will be around in 5 years? How many of them are not running into serious road blocks in achieving the goals outlined in their white paper whether it’s from requiring the block chain to be more efficient when scaled up, waiting on Eth 2.0 (or whatever it’s called) to lower gas fees, or just slow development in general?

These things are all just useless dude

Useless tokens for your MetaMask wallet to speculate on

The idea to have some type of contract inherent within the blockchain to enable some form of trust-less agreements to be made is cool and a great idea, such as when you want to swap say one crypto currency for another online where you don’t know the person on the other end of the trade, however it seems limited to Ethereum only and fees stop it from being useful on a large scale

The fact that I can only trade my Ethereum for NFTs and shittokens is kind of an issue and I’ve yet to hear of anyone using Ethereum for anything else. Maybe someone is out there but I haven’t heard of it.

I will admit it is a cool space, I was playing around with it and definitely got that sense of ā€œthis is the futureā€ after using uniswap and other Web 3.0 shit but the novelty kind of wore off because it’s limited to what you can do on the Ethereum network

At least monero is doing cool shit like atomic swaps despite it taking forever to get developed and still limited by a high barrier to entry as far as the knowledge required of the systems to complete it
