Question to all traders in this thread: How enjoyable/interesting really is this practice to you? Or do you just do it for the (chance of) money?
I have held my 0.0047 bitcoin (Got it from selling my classic WoW gold when I quit) for the last year and a half and I have had no interest in ever touching it at any point.

That is very likely not true but I see your point, you do it for the "challenge" and drive to improve.
I learned a lot from this about how markets work. How money works. How to develop patience and truly wait for criteria fo pull a trigger. Fractional reserve banking, energy usage, game theory, and so on. Even though i have a very high unrealized loss, i feel as if in the future i will be a much more disciplined and informed investor, and that will pay dividends

Most people that ive come to know that made a lot of money from this all seem to have been wiped out during their first cycle. It seems to be pain that you have to go through to eventually realize goals

I strangely feel a lot less stressed out now that this shit has gone -80%. There is much less risk in buying these levels and inevitably humans will nassively print money again to drastically increase the prices of commodities and assets

But I just want to understand why you chose this out of anything else to learn? Is it fate?
I definitely didnt go into it with intention of learning. I wanted to make a lot of money, and everyone was incredibly greedy at the time. The stock market had just seen two consecutive years of 20%+ growth, bitcoin had gone 22x, ethereum did like a 170x. I 100% fomod in with absolutely no understanding that i had bought almost the exact top. No understanding of literally anything at all actually. It crashed nearly immediately (2 weeks after i bought?) And i didnt sell.
Couldnt sleep. Woke up multiple times per night to check prices. Was scared of what my girlfriend would think, etc.
