That's your opinion the tech business reality is that talent retention is everything and they're an SF based company. This dumbass shit hurts that, and makes the "been around forever" thing irrelevant. Unless your employees purposely signed up for an anti woke company this is a stupid approach
And this is overlooking the fact that your CEO is playing culture manager for your giant company when he's supposed to sign off on someone to do it for him that is way more careful etc and focus on building biz relationships, strengthening company position and market view, etc
Imagine you fuck up and another company executive (that's underneath you) has to come out and say leave if you don't like the culture. That's some childish company stuff.
The saddest part is that this is a really obvious way to cut employees without doing a round of layoffs that may hurt your image more from your POV, but again talent acq/ret is everything and talent doesn't like to see this stuff. You also can't make untalented people leave first then. The opposite will happen, as talent has a lot of competing offers and is a lot more autonomous/unaccepting regarding this bullshit
sorry to break it to you but im not realizing these gains until i have 100 mil to begin the next phase of my plans

I made a pretty good amount (relative to my situation at the time, a lot less than that to be fair) of money buying weekly put options on SPY when it was crashing due to lockdowns in 2020, then congress bailed out the economy and printed infinite money and I lost everything I made in about 2 days.
So moral of the story is just donât make bitch ass decisions and youâll be at 100m in like 3 trades
