I dont think he has a chance as a democrat. democratic party is just starting to embrace a new direction. too late for yangs direction. he should go change the republican party instead.

It doesn't matter how well he did in the debate, he's an outsider and was never going to be the nominee anyway.
He's just one of those guys using the election to broadcast ideas like Ross Perot and will have plenty of opportunities to spread his memes at length in speaking engagements on his terms along the campaign trail.

Just look at how far people's opinions have evolved on universal healthcare in the last 10 years since obamacare was initiated or climate change
