You seem to not know what you're talking about most of the time unfortunately

Bzzt, wrongo
everyone is bad and wrong and have been brainwashed by their own beliefs. once you start believing in something, feeling right becomes more important than being right.
you can tell everyone in this thread and in general are bad and wrong because they don't argue in good faith. they activate a kind of doublethink where they convince themselves that their opponents believe in a convenient strawman, and feign ignorance when they are told they have misunderstood.
if someone is confident in their beliefs, they should be willing to defend it against the strongest form of attack. in reality, most people's takes are founded in some kind of internal logic or sentiment. start from the opponent's axioms, construct the best form of their argument for them, and prove that your side still holds up. if you cannot fluently recite your opponent's argument, there is no reason to expect that you actually have a valid defense against it. anyone who doesn't meet these standards (most people on the internet) are definitely bad and wrong. do not be tricked into believing anything they say.
of course, in a political setting, it is tactically advantageous to take the cheapest shots you can and win the debates, since lots of people might believe you. as a direct consequence, anything anyone says in a political setting is necessarily bad and wrong.
these are all beliefs resulting from brainwashing about my beliefs that resulted from brainwashing.
where do the beliefs lead us if we keep tracing them back through the chain of brainwashing?
it's anime all the way down
anime was brainwashing us all along
to be serious, my standard for anyone taking a position is just that they can fluently recite a good-faith representation of the counterargument. bonus points if you improve the counterargument and defeat it anyway.
I've never watched anime therefore my brain is the least corrupted therefore my political ideology is the best one
What are my stances? I have no idea
I think taxes are necessary but I babyrage when I see my paycheck gone
What's a man to do?
Kinda think the government should just stop taxing people and fund social programs by printing money out of thin air without telling anyone they are
actually kind of based?
problem with this approach is that the value of the dollar goes down to compensate, so goods become more expensive. since rich people do not hold cash the devaluing of cash falls hurts normal people the most.
taxes are an important part of giving that money value. if the state stops taxes, cryptocurrency schemes probably run amok
We definitely need to make the public less educated in order to help them the most
We can't have them asking questions like where is this money coming from
- Cut education spending
- Completely withhold all information from the public
- Do things without the public knowing that benefit them
The whole post was nonsense, but this is just laughably wrong
what is my argument, and why is it wrong?
