well, we shall see if you are right or not. i dont completely understand why activists fight for things. maybe its pretty fun.
but most of them are not thinking that they will trade their lives or their property for justice. some of them may be willing to may some extra taxes, but most of them are expecting the tax burden to fall on "the rich"
Holy shit, you're so dumb. This contradicts your point that people only do this for themselves and that there are political prisoners for advocating this, and that the DHS and FBI do far more than watchlist people. The OWS leaks and COINTELPRO stuff clearly shows this
are you willing to make your own life worse for the sake of strangers? i say no. this doesnt preclude marching and yelling because its probably engaging and fun and makes you feel like you are making a difference, but i bet it does preclude violent revolution and, for many people, paying higher taxes.
i hope the FBI stops activists from burning down people's houses in order to intimidate them into supporting a movement, which is my imaginary activist strategy.
Yes, and I have. I didn't sleep more than 4 hours a week for a month because I was at peaceful actions all night long which always ended with police brutality. I was maxed, teargassed, and flashbanged repeatedly. Had I been arrested, I'd have lost my career.
With the taxes stuff, you're literally making the point as to why nonviolence doesn't work, dumbfuck.
He can be really good when he's serious and stuff. He's far smarter than hbotz and asoul. Normally, he's just as bad faith and shitty as them, but he does have times when you can have a productive conversation/debate with him, which is impossible with hbotz and asoul
yes. im trying to express that very few people are "violent revolutionaries". some of them might be because they are very poor or jobless in the first place, so they have little to lose. thats the point. a stable System self-regulates so that the number of people with so little to lose that they become violent revolutionaries is low to the point that violent revolution does not succeed.
some people may argue income inequality in the united states is so bad that there will be violent revolution, but i dont believe this. and id prefer we start mailing checks to poor people before the violent revolution starts.
few people believe in justice enough to make meaningful sacrifices in the name of justice. you need to play around this, or your revolution wont work.
