I made like a pretty fat chunk owning mstr when it was like 300 a share pre split, so the stock basically 10x without leverage last year it was nuts.
With that said my over under is still down. My shit defi investments tapped me out, I really believed in defi dropped so much into it that it dwarfs everything else and I lost over 90%. Don't ever go hard in anything in life, nothing is for sure. I say this but I still do it sometimes this is why I need to divide my money so I don't keep it all in one place for my own safety.
It's so easy to swipe your finger and go a bit higher out of habit like you're playing a video game, idk if that ever happens to you guys but then you realize oh shit this is real money, serious consequences etc.. I need to stop yoloing like I'm playing watcher in sts.
Idk trying to avoid defi makes sense to me in conditions like these. I’m just a layman but I’d argue that people are generally more scared of investing in crypto over standard stocks, or atleast less HODL oriented and dip friendly as tradtrade.
So if it feels like we’re approaching famine, why would people take on what they see as additional risk in their investing
Yeah took me a while to get there but I feel that in that it’s probably done all it will do which is very little besides allowing people to do stuff within crypto.
Lack of mass adoption, seemingly no brainless solution or benefit for everyday people, just way shittier in UX by default so everyday people don’t even want to try it. There is no good solve
Defi is definitely fucking stupid. But that's easy to say in retrospect.
It had a lot of problems, I didn't think UX was one because they could fix that but anyway I'm almost done with crypto, I feel like crypto made banks upgrade their tech so defi is basically incorporated into banks now with cross platform payments, easy investment / staking of your cash, like they just copied everything defi did that banks didn't offer a few years ago after the SEC forced all of it to halt, now with Trump back in, they are reducing regulations but it's too late all of the market share got swallowed up, also the fucking scammers like Terra Luna and ohm, I mean fuck them all. I wanna just make my own coin and rug pull too at this point, I've lost all hope.
