when someone discards a card that completes your hand,
you ron them and score a direct hit, stealing their points
Maybe when I get better I can make that happen
Have to go to sleep now - A very nice game that one was
Didnāt I complete parts of my hand? Why didnāt I get points?
well nma is done, we have to play 3p now if we want to play.
Iām queued up
The goal is to make 4 āmeldsā and then a āheadā which is a 2 pair.
You call chii/pon to complete the melds, but it makes your hand āopenā.
Open hands have to have some additional special sauce on them to be worth any points.
You only get points if you complete your whole hand, or itās a draw and youāre in tenpai (need 1 more tile to have a complete hand).
We have to play 3p ippan tonpu unless you guys can find a fourth, nma is done.
Generally the cheapest hands that are open require a meld of honor tiles (the red dagger, white tile, or green tile) or like, a meld of the winds that matches the wind youāre sitting in or the current round wind.
Right, so when I click the left button I call chii/pon. Makes sense.
But you donāt get any points for completing melds, you only get points for completing full hands.
Chii/Pon change what hands youāre able to play, etc.
Iāve queued both 3 ippan tonpu adn 4 ippan tonpu (weāre only getting a 3 p game as thereās only 3 of us.)
Okay, this looks easy.

The game moves too fast to try to figure out what play Iām going forā¦
you should just concentrate on getting triplets, and sequences.
Same. I wasted too much time thinking and the game dealt some gamelosing shit by random
Thatās what I was doing at first. I should stick to that for now.
On the opening hand if I have like a double of an honor tile, Iām wiling to call chi/pon on pretty much anything since it gives a han and you can ron off it.
Otherwise I just keep it closed.
