Like, most of the stories feel like a benign case of awkward teenage boy who suddenly became popular having no idea how to approach or talk to women, like Grant grabbing a chicks hand and not letting go, but then the story about him supposedly drugging and fucking some chick at TI4 is heavy shit.

There is also a valid issue about token hires. I've watched some dota 2 streams with some uneducated casters making comments, while it's kind of sad to see mistakes like that being made, it's hopefully a one time thing.
People make mistakes, they correct themselves and refrain from it. Even male casters make mistakes as well.
For example, one case I'll bring up is sheever. She was a caster for a very long time in the early stages of dota, and I don't think anyone here will try to argue that she was good at the job.
And the idea that you have to be good at the game to be a good caster is also incorrect, two of my fav casters tobi and odpixel are 3k dumpster players.
I think gender and token hiring aside, harassment is wrong on every level, and having a work culture where the management and administration protects that behavior should not be tolerated.
WIth that being said, I sometimes get the feeling that females who have been terminated or removed for incompetence on the job moreso than their gender use sexism as an umbrella term to argue for their reinstatment. It's a very messy area to even tread.
It's for this reason tho, if you can be sued for firing someone over their race or gender, then maybe you shouldn't have hired them for that in the first place.
Like, if I hypothetically hired a girl caster just because she's a girl and she's shit, then I have to fire her because she's so trash it's ruining production quality, then she has the grounds to fight back and say you're only firing her because she's a girl, since she was only hired on because she was a girl. Sexism goes both ways. If you're going to allow someone to benefit from their race/gender, then you are also giving them grounds to sue you if you decide to revoke their privilege for no other reason.
