What do you guys think about the analysis in this video?
I think it delves too deep into the theoretical analysis of mythology and ends up missing the common-sense analysis of reality: that a “tame” man is absolutely interesting to a lot of women and that women, in their conscious or sub-conscious search for a mate, often use a set of criteria completely at odds with the suggestion of Dr. Peterson’s analysis - eg. “Do I feel safe?”
Maybe there’s something to be said for Fantasy here - that we all have certain fantasies, but ultimately face a reality which is often quite different and, if faced with our fantasy made flesh, may not even find it so appealing any more! But I am not a world-renowned social psychologist so I would not want to speculate on all that.

Common mistake, happens literally every time I post something interesting/provocative in a place like this
I would say between people just skipping the source material and responding to something random in the title/the words I wrote and people just outright dismissing/being unable to engage with something because it fits X/Y/Z political perspective they don’t like, I still find the former more tolerable
tbh i rarely do this, i heavily go by “no investigation, no right to speak” as often as i can.
which i think would be awesome if everyone could learn to practice that but alas
