Heroes of Newerth

From how he talked about it it sounded like he had a mental breakdown before Finding Christ and might not still be around without it so fair enough I guess

Lmfao he really was something else, what is that dude up to nowadays? In some floundering game company perhaps?

Can I get the lore for this explained I was gone

considering he’s trying to rerelease Heroes of Newerth, yeah a floundering game company

He’s the owner-operator of Opulent Blends.

this is basically how amway is structured, our boy is the tippy top of a pyramid scheme

Wait wait he's part of this indonesian conspiracy to sell HoN again to a bunch of fillipino 10 year olds? That makes it even funnier

The game is being developed by Kongor Studios, which is mostly old S2 staff

I thought I installed this stupid shit last month and played 1 match of Rampage. Now I can't find the game launcher on my PC, whatever the fuck it's called. hit me up if anyone wants to fuck around and matchmake

I’m probably never going to play the regular mode of a MOBA again but I always had a soft spot in my heart for midwars that the LoL offering never scratched

I swear we had posts on it but I couldn’t find them. Dude just became a born again Christian randomly, renounced his trolly ways. We knew this because he’d regularly stream to like double digits and was totally different acting. Really careful not to hate swear and would vocalize that he has found god very regularly lol

My flint fucking NOOB

we have no idea of which patch version they're planning to release

They could be smart and see the demand for a simpler, more old school version of DotA and go for that. I hope they do.

custom heroes is fine, it needs to have its own identity. but i'm talking like 3 lanes, two jungles, two ancient camps, one rosh location, no talents, no neutral items, about half the amount of items. etc.

sometimes simplicity increases skill ceiling and complexity rather than limiting it, as counter intuitive as it sounds

do you think chess would be improved by a magic system? of course not

it's hard to do ANYTHING that could be considered unique or creative when everybody has an infinite amount of choice, and there are genuinely 10 different items you could make in any given moment and have it be a good decision.

Before dota 2 was in full swing, they went on a crusade against rng leading to some pretty awful changes imo. A good example is bara bash (rampage) going to a 7s cd meaning his laning was insane but his late game was much worse. Hotbl(vanguard) having flat block instead of chance made the item very strong especially with how many heroes scaled off HP, frostburn was way better than sny on ranged heroes. Then we had insano spell scaling with spell shards etc, Gemini as a hero… I won't say there's no chance I don't fuck around a bit for shits I just wouldn't say I'm looking forward to it or have higher expectations.

remember when they reworked slardar bash and made it like every 3rd or 4th hit was a bash

My favorite HoN patch was the flint launch when shrapnel did burst damage.
