This song takes me back to when I first met my wife Dalia in KC Mo. We were just skater punks with our whole lives ahead of us. She was 17 and I was 16 she had tattoos blue hair and a fiery ass attitude. I never stood a chance lol. We meet at an Offspring concert and wjen this song played all I could think is "She's perfect" so I shot my shot and luckily she was interested. She taught me to hand plant and from then on we hung out everyday. We got married in 2000 and it was the happiest day of my life besides my kid being born. She gave me a beautiful daughter. She was the most loving mother and wife on this side of the galaxy. Then in 2015 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought like a champ for almost a year before it spread to her brain. I lost the love of my life on October 25 2016 and not a day goes by that we don't miss her. This song made me remember all the good times and even though I'm balling like a 2 year old girl, I know she's lookin down on me sayin' "Suck it up Buttercup, I'll be here when you get here" and that puts a smile on my face. If you love someone make sure they know it everyday. Tomorrow isn't promised to any of us.
