Seems like a blue/purple hero patch, at least for me. Even NS still seems relevant after being nerfed to oblivion

I think in theory talents could have been/still could be great. Adding more complexity to an already complex game could work if it was done tastefully.

I don’t really feel like that’s what has been done though.

I think the talents should all have just been little minor things, not insane power spikes. Something like “Hex lasts 0.5 seconds longer OR impale is a few units wider”. Small bonuses that effect your skills only, neither of which really change the game that much.

It was very sad going from TI6 which in my opinion was the best TI with the best meta ever, to 7.00 and beyond and feeling like the game took a huge step back. 7.00 was the exact moment in time I started playing way less dota and enjoying the game much less.

Played again for the first time in about 2 years after watching the most recent Summit, the game feels very foreign and different to how it used to. Trying to learn about talents is pretty difficult as I stopped playing before they were introduced.

Watched this yesterday and felt like there’s too much gold in Dota and it’s not as punishing as it used to be

Went 7-3 in calibration = 4200, then lost the next 3 games. Had a void that micspammed and missed a chrono on antimage who had blink on cooldown.
