I uncovered a money laundering political crime syndicate in my neighborhood

Fuck the state

A plurality of the country heard they were gonna implode the country and said bet because the price of eggs

It’s ggs

no they did it because they got played by the ai content of immigrants eating cats and etc

the real truth is that a bunch of people (especially white dudes) have been really angry about their perceived persecution in society, and so theyre* willing to torch anything and everything on account of it. any of them not freaking the fuck out right now, are loud and clear the worst our society has to offer in terms of intellectual development and understanding of life and our lived experiences. but it's not all on them, society has been failing people out for decades, spinning out, due to some larger forces who haven't been playing very nice to our people

these angry people who brought this on are the people who would say everything is overreacting until we have people literally in concentration camps, dying, and martial law is coming for their guns. and they wont even fight until another force comes in, because they are too motherfucking coward and selfish.

but i think this is a failing beyond simply what the average person can really affect. life is about to radically change, and this is just a 'necessary' moment of chaos for that change.

Trump just said with a straight face that "Israelis will not want to go into Gaza" if he literally displaced every single Palestinian there while Bibi sits right next to him beaming. This is what strength looks like to you? Lying to the entire west on this man's behalf?

If that makes you feel better ok but the majority of people voted for trump because dems bad, groceries high, or immigrants r takin da jobs

Maybe gen z is on that woe is me women hate men alpha shit only kick but real normal people don’t give a fuck about that they just want cheaper groceries and have bought into the Fox News fears for decades

Back on topic though, refpsi is a liar and needs a job
Go wash dishes bro

"maybe gen z"

it's not just gen z. i think it does a disservice to men across the board to say that men don't feel they are suffering in this period where everything they've been functioning under is getting rocked around pretty directly, in a focused way, over the last 15 years or so.

the trouble is when that platform of class and gender stability becomes destabilized, somebody's gotta be to blame.

who are they looking at? well, a very large and visible portion are literally blaming DEI, right the fuck now. and they happen to be rallying around and built from extremely wealthy and influential figures.

if you think that caring about eggs and dems-bad is an ok excuse to watch this happen in real time - i dunno. they got you good. because you aren't going to do anything either, until your comforts run out.

but, truly, i believe this has been in the works beyond what any every-day citizen was realistically capable of discerning and trying to oppose.. we just happen to find ourselves at a crossroads. one, that, sadly, most people aren't willing to or are afraid to call it a crossroads, even still. and if you can't identify the divergent paths, you can't make any decisions to circumvent or take the path that leads away from this regressive rhetoric.

it's not everybody, but it's enough that there aren't THAT many people raising alarms over how unconstitutional these actions are. and not being ahead of this type of "rule" only means all will be quickly funneled into compliance. the global landscape of tech is about to change in ways nobody is prepared for, or understands. which means human civilization is about to radically change.

Im not saying there aren’t some people that don’t feel this way

I’m saying the vast majority of the people that voted for trump did so for the reasons I stated rather than men feeling a type of way, and we know this because we saw it in elections across the world

We also know this because while there was a general shift toward trump compared to 2020 (largely due to lower turnout, decreased mail in, a shift in candidate 4 months before the election, etc), a few demographics really bucked the trend this election: non-white Hispanics of both genders, white men, and young men

While the shift in white women was less than the national shift, you’d think they would care about things like reproductive rights but they didn’t

These people don’t care about policy and believe all politicians are crooks, but one guy was saying he would fix things that the current guy and his lackey broke, and they ate it up despite the reason for these things being broken was he broke it

Personally I take a very nihilistic view to the current state of our country. I firmly believed were cooked. And if everything does end up fucked up, so be it. They voted for a felon that said he would do the things he is doing. Either they call their representatives and demand impeachment or nothing will change, because they’ve made it clear they don’t want the things we want

Our country has the ability to address the current unlawful activities but if the country doesn’t care then it doesn’t matter if we do

I think for anything to be done the real people who need to be reached are the supporters that think they’re benefitting from what he’s doing. The real deterrents to what needs to be done aren’t the people who aren’t speaking up, it’s the ones spamming the mafia lobby and leading town off a cliff

i think you're dismissing how much the larger forces have dismantled education in order to reduce the awareness and will to "fight" these actions. i am pointing a generalization towards men, for embracing this current DEI rhetoric, not that men are the only ones, or inherently wrong or stupid - at all - but that this atmosphere has been manufactured. that platform of toxic masculinity was crashing and leaving a lot of men displaced, socially. add the economic downfalls and you start to see desperate grabs to identify with something - loud and defensive in narrative. trump.

it just got someone like him in the door. "both sides(r vs d) are bad" yeah, ok. very low effort/poor/selfish logic. nonetheless, we have the sorriest excuse standing as the faces(musk+) of america. i guess we deserve this.

the problem is... how do we motivate people, who have been swallowed up by shitty rhetoric and awful influencers, to stop this.

idk, because youre sitting here talking about playing video games 'cuz none of it mattered', anyhow.

the situation sucks.

That's the big question. We have to stop this snowball before it gets too big.

We have access to more information than ever before (well not anymore cuz they’re deleting decades of scientific and historical data in the government servers xdd) so I don’t subscribe to the idea that it’s repubs fault that kids don’t read books anymore

When government employees and directors choose to capitulate to nameless nobodies with no credentials instead of telling them to fuck off or better yet filling them with lead what the fuck am I supposed to do? Be sad? Nahhh

None of the shit trump or the billionaires are doing is new or impressive, time is a cycle, the end of the empire is nigh, etc etc

Caveat to kids reading books - if trump really does close the department of education, which once upon a time it was my dream to be the secretary of education, then yeah moving forward it’ll be his fault everyones regarded

In any case, I don’t go in the voter thread because I actually don't want to type about us politics cuz it makes me sad and it requires a lot of typing which is annoying

So that’ll be it from me on typing about this topic for now

i'm not really referencing republicans, specifically, for dismantling education, that's more like a convenient aligning of agendas.
