In case you missed the drama, at twitchcon there was a foampit of about 1 foot depth. Below that hard concrete. Beloved porn star (cant remember her name, dont watch porn) broke her back in two places. They kept the "foam pit" open, and even more people got injured. Including a dislocated knee, among other injuries

I am just so appaled that twitch could allow this to happe .
Its possible that anyone who attends twitchcon may possess easily breakable bones. Perhaps the foam pit was not to blame. Plus im sure that pornstar has had "her back broken" several times.

it always makes me wince and triggers hypervigilance when i see people about to try some incredibly dumb shit for no reason (ie going to a twitchcon)

fucking your shit up jumping into a foam pit at a twitchcon is both incredibly dumb and not an accident. hell having a foam pit is obviously a mistake in the first place when a lot of twitch streamers (esp those going to twitch cons) do dumb shit for attention as their job
