Running a marathon is an impress feat no doubt. I’ve only done 5k’s cuz I’m weak. I did a 15k and it kicked my ass.
My endurance has always been dogshit. I’m OK at sprints but I’ve never had good endurance
I participated in a running tournament in high-school. We didn’t have any really good sprinters so I was a part of a 4 man team. I ran second, we were dead last before me and I improved us up to barely below second. We ended up winning the heat (mainly because our last runner was insanely fast). That tournament still remains as one of my best childhood memories.
