The FBI and CIA have been in contact with her for some time. They've been coaching her and giving her a script, telling her who she can out, and who she can't.
If she keeps her end of the deal, she'll get off easy.

The worst charge she has is some escorting minors across borders thing. With an indictment that calls her a kid rapist. She won't even get jail time
But she will still die. She knows too much.
