Being blanket against threads being closed by mods at hammer while simultaneously wanting people to stop posting after hammer doesnât work.
Honestly anytime a threadâs been locked on hammer seems legit because every time the host hasnât shown up for nearly 6 hours after hammer.
Think you gotta adapt your rules, man.
Your like deciding the rules on your own. Day has always ended when the host closes. However I donât mind closing after a hammer instantly. But that was not the current system and rules as written.
Additionally, I donât plan on hosting myself for quite some time. I am a bit burned out. I think I want mafia to be run differently and I canât force that on everyone. I try to write rules and people just ignore them.

i inferred that you meant the thread closing but you didn't really make it obvious that that was the main thing that bothered you
i assume people posting as if game had ended before you had explicitly ended the game also bothered you, but that's something that personally i don't see a reason for either: if town votes wrong in lylo and scum players know it's over, i think it's fine that they declare it over and can't see a game-integrity reason to avoid doing so.

What I want is for moderation to be set up in the right way and then rules to be enforced.
People will keep posting if the thread isnât locked cuz theyâre idiots
So either donât care if people post after hammer or adjust to reality
Or spend more time writing the bot to handle hammers and eod etc (which is work and will essentially remove most of a hosts work) hosts become moderators

You can make up your own minds but I honestly wasnât considering my personal gain from locking/not locking the thread when I did so, but as I said earlier, it would benefit me having the thread open for longer from my point of view.
