there's a great video of the seattle or portland pd in a standoff with a crowd when the officers try grabbing the crowds umbrellas. when the people start jostling back for their property the cops pepper spray and gas the entire intersection. also some great footage of cops just nabbing people from crowds to throw them in the tank for 8 hours just to let people know they can. guess some people don't call it brutality or instigation unless the white phosphorous gets busted out
