This is why we throw the "Canadian" thing back at you in discussions because you imagine a US full of pickup-driving, gun-toting, fox-news-watching Amerifats but the reality on the ground is very different - I think during that period I knew 0 ppl who actually watched Fox News & therefore new it was ■■■■■■■■ & should be fixed but didn't have as much urgency
Whereas that is not the case now with NYT, NPR etc - they have real penetration into the America I live in & experience every day

Not nuanced but I think the dems are better in regard to actually changing ones opinion when presented with evidence. See: matt gaetz v Cuomo and the al fraken bullshit. Dems generally being the side that stands with a "science" viewpoint, even if they don't fundamentally understand what science actually aims to accomplish. Republicans are more stern about protecting their people and do so by lying and gaslighting others to a larger extent than democrats would.
This doesn't stop democrats from also being absolute drones however. I have made it a mission of mine to peel off pictures of Biden saying "I did this" from gas pumps around my area. I was really annoyed and upset by these ■■■■■■■ doing this dumb shit before I realized that democrats would do the same exact thing if Trump were still president. I feel like the ■■■■■■ to intelligent ratio for democrats is like 85/100 and for Republicans it's something like 96/100
